Stantonsburg KinderCare recently earned accreditation by the National Accreditation Commission (NAC) for Early Care and Education Programs. This is the first time in the center’s 26-year history that it has achieved this accreditation.
NAC accreditation has become the mark of quality in early childhood education. Only 7 percent of early childhood programs in the nation achieve this recognition.
The NAC accreditation is a rigorous process, involving intensive self-study and a site-visit by a team of experts. In awarding accreditation, NAC focuses on the center’s environment and curriculum, measuring it against a national set of standards related to education, health and safety.
