U.S. Cellular, in conjunction with its partner, King Street Wireless, will be the first to bring 4G LTE speeds to Greenville residents.

Next month, U.S. Cellular is launching a 4G LTE network that will cover 25 percent of its customers and will coincide with the launch of the Android-powered Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 4G LTE mobile tablet, followed shortly by the Samsung Galaxy S Aviator 4G LTE smartphone.

The 4G LTE speeds allow customers to begin watching a movie in seconds and provides smoother video streaming with little to no buffering. Video chatting quality also is enhanced.
