A teenager was arrested Monday night for possessing more than 300 bags of cocaine and a stolen firearm, the Greenville Police Department reported.
Officer B.J. High was patrolling in the 1600 block of South Pitt Street at 7:25 p.m. to investigate suspicious people possibly selling narcotics at an abandoned house, Sgt. Joe Friday said on Tuesday.
High saw two men sitting on blocks at the location, Friday said. When the officer exited his vehicle to investigate, one suspect ran and another was detained.
