Beulaville dancers receive three scholarships to national competition

The Studio Dance Center of Beulaville, took 20 competitive dancers from Duplin to the Star Talent Dance Competition in Supply, on Feb. 19 & 20. Dancers took the stage in routines ranging from lyrical, musical theatre, jazz, and tap. Each receiving high accolades, with three receiving scholarships to Star Talent’s National Competition in June. A contemporary routine titled “Marjorie” choreographed by Stacie Dawson, SDC owner and artistic director received the highest score of the day, a scholarship to nationals, and special choreography award.
