Storytime with Santa

The Family Support Network of Eastern N.C. will host Storytime with Santa at 6 p.m. Tuesday and Dec. 10 at the Greenville Convention Center, 303 S.W. Greenville Blvd. Children will hear a story and have photos taken with Santa. Cost is $10 for one child, $15 for two or $20 for three or more. Reservations are required. Nutcracker ballet

Dance Arts Theatre will present “The Nutcracker Ballet” at 2 and 7 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at ECU’s Wright Auditorium. Net proceeds will be donated to the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals to benefit the James and Connie Maynard Children’s Hospital at Vidant. Tickets are $36 for adults and $32 for children. ‘Best Christmas Pageant Ever’

Magnolia Arts Center, 1703 E. 14th St., will present “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.” at 7:30 p.m. Thursday-Saturday and Dec. 12-14. A Winter Reading Program for ages 3-12 and 13-18 will be held from Dec. 16-March 13. Participants will receive a free book in exchange for meeting their reading goal.

Breakfast with Santa

The Greenville Museum of Art, 802 S. Evans St., will host Breakfast with Santa from 9-11 a.m. Saturday. The event will include breakfast, a visit with Santa, a digital photo and a keepsake craft. Tickets are $35 per family for members and $50 for others. Call 758-1946 or visit gmoa.org.

Polar Express

The Jolly Trolley Polar Express will run Dec. 13-14. This is a 20-minute ride that includes a reading of ”The Polar Express,” cocoa and cookies and an art activity at Emerge Gallery and Art Center, 404 S. Evans St. Time slots begin at 4:25 p.m. and end at 8:25 p.m. Registration is limited. Tickets are $30 for the first ticket and $10-$15 each for additional tickets. Free for ages 2 and younger.
