Bless Your Heart

Bless our hearts for treating our Earth like a waste bin. We were commanded to be good shepherds but we pollute, destroy, burn, pillage, consume and litter all over the place. Single-use plastic bags, cigarette butts, fast food containers, cans, bottles and other litter are all over the roadsides. We have met Earth’s greatest enemy and it is us.

I cannot wait to change cable companies. It’s been a long time coming. Don’t know if the new company is better or less expensive but it is the principle of the thing. I have suffered shoddy customer service for too long now. Have to stay in my marriage for the sake of the kids and my 401K but I do not have to stay with the old cable company. Revenge is sweet.

Another day in Greenville and yet another pedestrian is injured by a driver. BOHs for designing roads that have disconnected or missing sidewalks that are not accessible and few crosswalks and lights. How does NCDOT expect people without cars to get across public roads to shop, attend school or try to catch a bus at stops that remain inaccessible? How many lives must be sacrificed before people are valued over cars?

BYH, you say you love me, but you don’t vote like it.

Bless my heart, I’m old enough to remember when a dictator invaded a sovereign nation and Republicans didn’t side with the dictator.

Cancellation of Keystone Pipeline didn’t affect gas prices. It wasn’t going to be completed until 2030. Stop lying. Bless your heart.

Bless all of our hearts, Wars of the Roses, the Hundred Years War. ... History will look back at this as the “Putin War.” The Russian people have nothing against Ukrainians; people are all the same. No, this is on one person and it will not end well for him.

BYH, place of birth is not a choice. Race is not a choice. Sexual orientation is not a choice. Ethnicity is not a choice. Hate is a choice.

BYH to Greenville City Council, which consistently disregards the Horizons plan in order to favor their developer friends. No such thing as “smart growth” in this town. Everyone appreciates sensible commercial development but this council disregards the Horizons plan consistently to the detriment of the city.

BYH to the people still talking about a cryptomining place in Tennessee and trying to scare people about one coming here. The company coming here has said that they use different equipment than the Tennessee company does and they will follow our noise laws. That’s like telling everyone they should not have a pickup truck because of the jerks who have the tailpipes with the megaphone attached to the end. Not all trucks are the same.
