Día Del Niño: The Association of Mexicans in North Carolina Inc. is hosting its Día del Niño y Día de las Madres children’s and mother’s field day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday at H. Boyd Lead Park, 5184 Corey Road. The event is held annually on April 30 to celebrate children, families, reading and literacy for all children from all backgrounds.

McDonald House: The Friends of the Ronald McDonald House will host a Friends Night Out at the Uptown Brewery from 5-7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
