The North Pitt girls kicked off the season with a celebration on Nov. 20, celebrating senior Ashanti Hines’ 1,000th point, which was scored late last season.
Even though the J.H. Rose boys’ basketball team didn’t play a game Thursday night, the squad brought the same game-like intensity to practice. That intensity is one of the big reasons why the Rampants are off to their best start since 2017 with a perfect 5-0 record.
