In a battle of former 8-10 year old Tournament of State Champion winners the hometown team, Tar Heel Little League, cruised to victory over Loudoun-South American Little League of South Riding, Va, 12-2 Wednesday afternoon at Elm Street Park.

North Carolina representative Tar Heel Little League punched its ticket to the 8-10 year old Tournament of State Champions final Tuesday morning at Elm Street Park, defeating Tennessee representative Goodettsville, 12-2, in five innings.
