Greenville based business ScoutsFocus, which aims to help high school basketball players gain collegiate exposure, held a local camp on Saturday and will continue its free camp tour with three stops in Florida from Jan. 16-19. Around 120 campers between the ages of 10 and 18 are expected to be in attendance in Greenville. ScoutsFocus hosts bi-annual camps and its heralded All American camp throughout the country in search of top & under-the-radar prospects.

KICKBALL

GRPD: The Greenville Recreation and Parks Department is making preparations for the upcoming Adult Kickball League. This is an organized league for men and women, consisting of 10 regular season games and a single elimination post-season tournament.

Doubleheader games will be played on Sunday afternoons at Boyd Lee Park.

SOFTBALL

GRPD: The Greenville Recreation and Parks Department is making preparations for the upcoming USSSA Modified Adult Softball League. Team registration is now being accepted for open and co-ed leagues.

Each team will participate in a preseason tournament, 12 regular season games and a post-season tournament. Games will be played Monday through Thursday at Boyd Lee Park and other parks as needed.
